CBOC Whitewater gives you the
best rafting on Northern California's three forks of the American
River

Our highly trained guide staff is the primary feature that makes
CBOC a great choice for whitewater adventure. Our guides are mature,
conscientious professionals who come from diverse backgrounds: educators,
business managers, engineers, bankers, journalists, and members of the U.S.
Canoe and Kayak Team.
Our guide standards are rigorous and demanding. Most we train
ourselves, and every trip is followed by a debriefing and critique. All of our
guides are trained in First Aid, CPR, and River Rescue, and they have the
experience and motivation to make your trip both pleasant and memorable. They
are also some pretty darn good cooks, for those of you interested in our
overnight trips!
Mark (Bay Watch Boy) Though he
graduated from college a number years ago, his summer job keeps calling him
back. Mark is entering his 12th season with CBOC and invites you to a wild ride
OR just a casual historic tour down the river. Your choice. When you see his
green eyes, flowing brown hair, and beautiful body you'll know why they call
him "Bay Watch".
Aaron (Atilla) He grew up in
Coloma, CA. and started rafting back in the 80's. At CBOC his is surrounded by
folks from Texas, New Mexico, and Georgia.... but the river doesn't care where
you're from. It just keeps on moving and Aaron has learned a thing of two about
piloting rubber boats in moving current. Besides being an art major in the
final stages of a BA degree, he likes to think of himself as a seasonal
superhero, who happens to enjoy the great outdoors and a paycheck. This will be
his 7th season guiding for CBOC Whitewater.
